The Dallas Mavericks may be without center Dereck Lively II for an extended period of time.
Lively, who has missed the last four games with a sprained right shoulder, is still experiencing pain and swelling, according to a report from Tim MacMahon of ESPN.
It is unclear at this time how long Lively will be out, but the Mavericks are reportedly preparing to be without him for multiple weeks.
Lively is averaging 8.3 points and 6.3 rebounds in 32 games this season.
The Mavericks are currently 24-22 and in sixth place in the Western Conference.
They will be back in action on Friday night when they host the Los Angeles Lakers.
