Shopify to debut POS software for self-serve kiosks
Shopify has unveiled plans to debut new self-serve software for physical retail.
The new software offering is called Shopify POS for Kiosks and will allow retailers to quickly launch self-serve experiences for customers.
The software will enable brick-and-mortar stores to offer faster checkouts, additional payment options, and the ability to provide real-time inventory information to shoppers.
Home Depot to Expand Home Services Vertically
Home Depot plans to invest upwards of 1 billion dollars into expanding its home services platform.
Through the expansion, Home Depot will hire more than 1000 new service providers.
The company will now offer a variety of new home maintenance services such as: electrical, kitchen and bathroom fitting, small appliance installation, and smart home installation.
