Heat Reveal Tyler Herro's Official Injury Report Status vs Pistons
Herro Listed as Doubtful for Heat-Pistons Matchup
The Miami Heat have released their official injury report ahead of their upcoming matchup against the Detroit Pistons, and Tyler Herro has been listed as doubtful.
Herro has been dealing with a right knee contusion that has kept him out of the Heat's last two games. The injury occurred in the Heat's game against the Indiana Pacers on February 11th.
In Herro's absence, the Heat have struggled to find consistency on the offensive end. They have lost three of their last four games, including a 113-107 defeat to the Charlotte Hornets on Friday night.
Heat Hope Herro Can Return Soon
The Heat are hoping that Herro will be able to return to the lineup soon. He is one of the team's most important players, and they need him to be at his best if they want to make a deep playoff run.
If Herro is unable to play against the Pistons, the Heat will likely start Victor Oladipo in his place. Oladipo has been playing well in recent weeks, and he would be a capable replacement for Herro.
Pistons Also Dealing With Injuries
The Pistons are also dealing with some injuries of their own. Jerami Grant is questionable for the game with a right quad contusion, and Isaiah Stewart is doubtful with a right ankle sprain.
Despite their injuries, the Pistons have been playing well lately. They have won five of their last six games, including a 113-109 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday night.
The Heat and Pistons will tip off at 7:00 PM EST on Saturday night at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit.
