Dixon Leads Villanova Against Saint Joseph's (PA) After 22-Point Game
'Nova's Senior Guard Powers Wildcats to Victory
Villanova Wildcats senior guard Bryan Antoine Dixon led his team to a 73-66 victory over the Saint Joseph's Hawks.
Dixon scored a game-high 22 points, including four three-pointers.
The win improves Villanova's record to 10-3 on the season while Saint Joseph's falls to 4-8.
Dixon's Dominance
Dixon was on fire from the start, scoring 10 points in the first half.
He continued to pour it on in the second half, scoring 12 more points.
Dixon also dished out four assists and grabbed three rebounds.
Wildcats' Defense Shines
Villanova's defense was also impressive, holding Saint Joseph's to just 39.1% shooting.
The Wildcats also forced 13 turnovers.
Senior forward Eric Dixon added 14 points and 10 rebounds for Villanova.
Hawks' Struggles Continue
Saint Joseph's has now lost five straight games.
The Hawks were led by sophomore guard Erik Reynolds II, who scored 16 points.
Saint Joseph's will look to snap its losing streak on Saturday when they host the George Washington Colonials.

Villanova will return to action on Wednesday when they host the Creighton Bluejays.
The Wildcats will be looking to extend their winning streak to three games.
Creighton is 11-2 on the season and is coming off a 73-68 win over the Xavier Musketeers.
