Dancing With the Stars Recap: Derek Hough Impressed by Cheryl Burke and Cody Rigsby's Argentine Tango
Derek Hough was blown away by Cheryl Burke and Cody Rigsby's Argentine tango on Monday night's Dancing With the Stars. The performance was so good that Hough said it was better than his own Argentine tango from season 21. "I was so impressed," Hough said. "It was so clean, so sharp, and so passionate. They really nailed it."
Burke and Rigsby's Argentine tango was a fan favorite, and it earned them a perfect score of 40. The judges praised the couple's chemistry, technique, and overall performance. "This was one of the best Argentine tangos I've ever seen," judge Len Goodman said. "It was absolutely stunning."
Hough was particularly impressed by Rigsby's performance. "Cody has come so far this season," Hough said. "He's really stepped up his game, and he's now one of the best dancers in the competition." Rigsby is a Peloton instructor with no prior dance experience. However, he has quickly become a fan favorite and a serious contender for the Mirrorball Trophy.
