Big Five Play Begins Tuesday for Wildcats at Saint Joseph's

Wildcats look to continue strong start to the season
The Villanova Wildcats will begin Big Five play on Tuesday night when they travel to Hagan Arena to take on the Saint Joseph's Hawks. The Wildcats are 5-2 on the season, while the Hawks are 3-4. Villanova has won the last two meetings between the two schools. The Wildcats won 88-67 at home over Saint Joseph's in the 2021-22 regular season and 94-63 in the Big Five Championship in the same season.
The Wildcats will be looking to continue their strong start to the season. They have won each of their last three games, including taking down No. 4 Purdue in the second game of the season. Villanova is led by senior guard Justin Moore and he put up 30 points in that win over the Boilermakers.
The Hawks are looking to bounce back from a tough loss to La Salle on Saturday. Saint Joseph's has lost three of their last four games. The Hawks are led by senior guard Erik Reynolds II.
