Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson to ring the changes for EFL Trophy clash at Port Vale
Parkinson set to make wholesale alterations for trip to League One opposition
Dragons boss keen to give fringe players a chance to impress
Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson is set to make wholesale changes to his team for Tuesday night's EFL Trophy clash at Port Vale.
Parkinson has confirmed that he will use the game to give fringe players a chance to impress, with the likes of goalkeeper Christian Dibble, defender Jordan Tunnicliffe and midfielder Jake Hyde all in contention to start.
Parkinson said: "We've got a big squad and it's important that everyone gets a chance to play. This is a good opportunity for some of the lads who haven't featured as much to show what they can do."
Wrexham are currently top of the National League and will be looking to continue their good form against League One opposition.
Parkinson added: "Port Vale are a good side and it will be a tough game, but we're confident that we can get a result."
The match will be played at Vale Park, with kick-off at 7pm.
