Traveling to the Netherlands Is About to Get More Difficult
New Travel Restrictions Coming Soon
The Netherlands is set to implement new travel restrictions in the coming weeks, making it more difficult for people to enter the country. The new restrictions are aimed at curbing the spread of COVID-19, which has been surging in the Netherlands in recent months.
Starting on March 15, all travelers to the Netherlands will be required to show proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within 48 hours of arrival. Travelers will also be required to quarantine for 10 days upon arrival, regardless of their vaccination status.
Who is Affected by the New Restrictions?
The new restrictions will affect all travelers to the Netherlands, regardless of their nationality or country of origin. However, there are some exceptions to the rules.
- Travelers who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 will not be required to quarantine upon arrival.
- Travelers who have recovered from COVID-19 within the past 6 months will also be exempt from the quarantine requirement.
- Children under the age of 12 are also exempt from the quarantine requirement.
