Trail Blazers' Deandre Ayton: Late addition to injury report

Portland Trail Blazers center Deandre Ayton has been added to the injury report as questionable for Saturday's game against the Golden State Warriors.

Ayton is dealing with a right ankle sprain that he suffered in Friday's practice. X-rays came back negative, but Ayton is still experiencing some pain and swelling.

The Trail Blazers are already without Jusuf Nurkic (calf) and Justise Winslow (ankle), so Ayton's absence would be a big blow to their frontcourt.

If Ayton is unable to play, Drew Eubanks would likely start at center for the Trail Blazers. Eubanks has averaged 6.2 points and 5.6 rebounds in 14.4 minutes per game this season.

The Trail Blazers are 1-2 this season without Ayton in the lineup. They will be looking to snap a two-game losing streak when they host the Warriors on Saturday night.
