Trade Mission to Czechia and Germany to Help Nebraska Companies Explore Transatlantic Opportunities

Nebraska companies are invited to join the Nebraska Department of Agriculture on a trade mission to Czechia and Germany, November 7-11, 2023

The trade mission will provide Nebraska companies with an opportunity to meet with potential customers, distributors, and partners in the Czech and German agricultural markets.

The Nebraska Department of Agriculture is organizing a trade mission to Czechia and Germany from November 7-11, 2023. The mission will focus on the agricultural sector and will provide Nebraska companies with an opportunity to meet with potential customers, distributors, and partners in the Czech and German markets.

Nebraska has a strong agricultural economy, and the Czech Republic and Germany are important markets for Nebraska agricultural products. In 2022, Nebraska exported over $1 billion in agricultural products to the European Union, of which the Czech Republic and Germany are members. The trade mission will provide Nebraska companies with an opportunity to explore new markets for their products and services.

The trade mission will include visits to agricultural businesses and research institutions in both countries. Participants will also have the opportunity to meet with government officials and industry leaders. The mission will be led by Nebraska Department of Agriculture Director Steve Wellman.

Nebraska companies interested in participating in the trade mission should contact the Nebraska Department of Agriculture at 402-471-2341. The deadline to apply is September 15, 2023.

The trade mission is supported by the Nebraska Department of Economic Development and the Nebraska Diplomats. The Nebraska Diplomats is a group of Nebraska business leaders who volunteer their time to promote Nebraska's economy around the world.
