Trade mission on to Germany: Pillen to speak at EuroTier cattle and pig event
Delegation of 20 Irish firms to join Minister for Agriculture at the world’s largest livestock trade fair
Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Charlie McConalogue, will travel to Germany today to lead a trade mission of 20 Irish agri-food companies to the EuroTier trade fair in Hanover.
The world's largest trade fair for animal production, EuroTier 2022 will run from Tuesday, 15 November to Friday, 18 November.
The trade mission is part of Bord Bia’s wider Origin Green programme, which is designed to promote Irish food and drink exports on a global scale.
It will provide an opportunity for Irish agri-food companies to meet with potential customers from across the world, and to showcase their products and services.
Minister McConalogue will address the EuroTier Cattle and Pig Event on Wednesday, 16 November.
He will also meet with a number of key industry figures, including the German Minister for Food and Agriculture, Cem Özdemir.
The Irish delegation will be showcasing a range of products and services at EuroTier, including animal feed, genetics, veterinary products, and equipment.
The trade mission is expected to generate significant interest from potential customers in Germany and other European markets.
