Timberwolves Fall to 26-26 on the Season
Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards continued his recent run of productive performances on Tuesday night, scoring 26 points and grabbing 10 rebounds in a 126-114 loss to the Utah Jazz.
Edwards, who has now scored at least 20 points in six of his last seven games, was efficient from the field, shooting 9-of-18 (50.0%). He also added 3 assists, 2 steals, and 1 block to his stat line.
Despite Edwards' strong performance, the Timberwolves were unable to overcome a hot-shooting Jazz team that made 22-of-48 (45.8%) from three-point range. Karl-Anthony Towns led the way for Utah with 32 points and 15 rebounds, while Lauri Markkanen added 25 points and 9 rebounds.
The loss drops the Timberwolves to 26-26 on the season, 11th in the Western Conference. They will look to bounce back on Thursday night when they host the Indiana Pacers.
