Kentucky Wins 93-69 to Improve to 3-0

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Oscar Tshiebwe scored 22 points and grabbed 18 rebounds as No. 23 Kentucky rolled past Bucknell 93-69 on Saturday at Rupp Arena.

The Wildcats (3-0) used a 14-0 run midway through the first half to take control of the game. Kentucky led 48-28 at halftime and never looked back.

Tshiebwe was 9-of-12 from the field and added three assists and three blocks. Antonio Reeves scored 16 points, Cason Wallace added 15 points, and Jacob Toppin finished with 14 points.

Bucknell Battles Back But Falls Short

Bucknell (2-2) cut the lead to 10 points with 13:30 remaining in the second half, but Kentucky responded with a 10-0 run to put the game away.

Andrew Funk led the Bison with 19 points, while Xander Rice added 14 points and Alex Timmerman finished with 12 points.

Kentucky's Defense Shines

Kentucky's defense held Bucknell to 38.5% shooting from the field, including 27.3% from three-point range.

The Wildcats also forced 18 turnovers and blocked eight shots.

Kentucky's Offense Rolls

Kentucky shot 52.6% from the field and made 10 of 25 three-pointers.

The Wildcats also outrebounded Bucknell 45-28.
