Kyle Singler Calls Out 'Coward' Kevin Love
Singler Says Love Unfollowed Him On Instagram After Singler Criticized Love's Leadership
Pistons forward Kyle Singler blasted Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love on Thursday, calling Love a "coward" and saying that Love unfollowed him on Instagram after Singler criticized Love's leadership.
Here's the full statement Singler made on Instagram:
Looks like someone is scared and had to unfollow me to hide. That's what leaders do right? You were quick to talk when I was minding my business. Should've kept that same energy. I always keep it 💯 but I'm the coward? Stop hiding behind your name and be a man and talk to me. I'm sure you'll be back when you need something. But until then, don't act like you tough. #TalkBehindMyBack #Coward.
Singler's comments come after he criticized Love's leadership on a podcast earlier this week. Singler said that Love was not a vocal leader and that he did not do enough to help his teammates improve.
Love has not yet responded to Singler's comments.
Singler and Love were teammates on the Cleveland Cavaliers for two seasons, from 2015 to 2017. They won the NBA championship together in 2016.
Singler is now a member of the Detroit Pistons. Love is now a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers.
