Thompson reflects on his time with the Warriors and looks ahead to the future

Klay Thompson is one of the most beloved players in Golden State Warriors history. He helped the team win three NBA championships and was a key member of the team's "Big Three" alongside Stephen Curry and Draymond Green.

However, Thompson missed the entire 2019-20 season with a torn ACL and only played in 38 games in 2020-21 due to a torn Achilles.

This season, Thompson has finally returned to full health and is averaging 20.4 points per game.

Thompson recently spoke to reporters about his time with the Warriors and his thoughts on the future.

On his time with the Warriors:

"I've had some amazing experiences here," Thompson said. "I've won three championships, I've played with some of the greatest players in the game, and I've made lifelong friends.

"I'm so grateful for my time here and I'll always cherish the memories I've made.

"But I also know that it's time for a new chapter in my life," Thompson added. "I'm excited to see what the future holds, and I'm confident that I can still play at a high level for many years to come."

On his future:

"I'm not sure what the future holds, but I'm excited to find out," Thompson said. "I'm open to anything, and I'm just going to take it one day at a time.

"I'm just focused on getting better every day and helping my team win games," Thompson added. "I'm not worried about the future. I'm just going to enjoy the present and see where it takes me."
