Kentucky's Veterans are the Difference in Win Over Duke in Champions Classic

Kentucky basketball earned a 78-69 victory over Duke on Tuesday night in the Champions Classic at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
The Wildcats were led by a trio of veterans in Oscar Tshiebwe, Sahvir Wheeler, and Jacob Toppin.
Tshiebwe finished with 22 points and 18 rebounds, while Wheeler added 16 points and 4 assists, and Toppin chipped in 13 points and 6 boards.
Tshiebwe's Dominance in the Paint
Tshiebwe was a force in the paint for Kentucky, dominating the glass and scoring at will.
The 6-foot-9 center from the Congo grabbed 18 rebounds, including 6 offensive boards.
He also scored 22 points on 9-of-14 shooting from the field.
Wheeler's Steady Hand
Wheeler provided a steady hand for Kentucky at the point guard position.
The 6-foot guard from Georgia scored 16 points and dished out 4 assists.
He also hit two key three-pointers in the second half to help Kentucky pull away.
Toppin's Versatility
Toppin was a versatile threat for Kentucky, contributing in a variety of ways.
The 6-foot-9 forward from Rhode Island scored 13 points, grabbed 6 rebounds, and dished out 3 assists.
He also blocked two shots and came up with a key steal in the second half.
