The Kansas Jayhawks men's basketball team has punched their ticket to the Final Four after a hard-fought 81-78 victory over the Michigan State Spartans in the Elite Eight.
The game was a back-and-forth affair, with neither team leading by more than seven points at any point in the second half.

Kansas was led by Ochai Agbaji, who scored 25, followed by Christian Braun who scored 18 off the bench. Jalen Wilson added 13 points for the Jayhawks.
For Michigan State, Max Christie scored 22 points, while Tyson Walker and Jaden Akins each added 14 points.
Defense Wins Championships
The Jayhawks' defense was the key to their victory, as they held the Spartans to 26.3% shooting from three-point range and forced 10 turnovers in the second half.
Kansas coach Bill Self praised his team's defensive effort.
"Our defense was phenomenal tonight," Self said. "We held them to 38.5% shooting from the field and forced 16 turnovers. That's what wins championships."
Spartans' Comeback Falls Short
The Spartans made a furious comeback in the final minutes of the game, but it was not enough to overcome the Jayhawks' lead.
Michigan State coach Tom Izzo was proud of his team's effort, but disappointed with the result.
"Our guys played their hearts out tonight," Izzo said. "But Kansas is a great team, and they made the plays when they needed to. I'm proud of my team, but it's tough to lose a game like this."
