Jimmy Butler (ankle) ruled out Tuesday
Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Milwaukee Bucks due to an ankle injury.
Butler suffered the injury in the Heat's 112-109 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday. He played 32 minutes in the game but was clearly hobbled by the injury. Butler is averaging 21.4 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 6.1 assists per game this season.
The Heat are already without Kyle Lowr (knee) and Tyler Herro (ankle), so Butler's absence is a major blow. Caleb Martin is expected to start in Butler's place.
The Heat are now 2-3 this season without Butler in the lineup.
They will face a tough test against the Bucks, who are 4-1 this season. The Bucks are led by Giannis Antetokounmpo, who is averaging 32.8 points, 12.2 rebounds, and 5.8 assists per game.
The Heat will need to find a way to slow down Antetokounmpo if they want to have a chance to win without Butler.
The Heat are 1-2 against the Bucks this season.
They lost both games in Milwaukee but won the most recent matchup in Miami. The Heat will be looking to avenge those losses on Tuesday.
