Social media star was set to face boxing legend in February
Jake Paul has admitted he was “heartbroken” after Mike Tyson pulled out of their boxing fight last week. The two were scheduled to meet in the ring on February 26th, but Tyson withdrew due to a back injury.
In a recent interview, Paul said he was “numb” when he first heard the news. “I was so excited for this fight, and I had been training so hard,” he said. “It was a dream come true to be able to fight Mike Tyson.”
Paul said he understands that Tyson is dealing with an injury, but he still wishes the fight could have happened. “I hope he gets well soon and that we can reschedule the fight in the future,” he said.
Paul not giving up on boxing dream
Despite the setback, Paul said he is not giving up on his boxing dream. “I’m still going to train hard and I’m still going to fight,” he said. “I believe that I can be the best boxer in the world, and I’m not going to let anything stop me.”
Paul has been training with renowned boxing coach Freddie Roach, and he has made significant progress in his boxing skills. He has won all of his six professional fights, and he is eager to prove himself against tougher competition.
It is unclear when Paul will fight again, but he is hopeful that he can secure another big fight in the near future. He is confident that he can become a world champion, and he is determined to make his dream a reality.
