FIRST ALERT FORECAST: Some showers linger Sunday, then drier by Monday
Rain showers expected later today and tonight
Scattered thunderstorms will linger in OKC through the end of the weekend, with rain showers expected to continue later today and tonight, according to the National Weather Service in Norman. The chance of precipitation is 40% through the afternoon but is expected to increase to 70% by this evening.
Temperatures will be in the mid-70s throughout the day and drop to the low 60s overnight.
Drier conditions expected Monday and Tuesday
The chance of precipitation will decrease to 30% Monday as the front moves out of the area. Skies will be mostly sunny with high temperatures in the mid-70s and lows in the low 60s.
Tuesday is expected to be mostly sunny and dry with high temperatures in the mid-80s and lows in the mid-60s.
