Czech and German Agribusiness Delegation to Learn, Network at EuroTier Fair

Each year, Nebraska's agricultural producers and agribusiness leaders participate in international trade missions to educate, network and share information with global partners. An upcoming trade mission will travel to the EuroTier fair in Hanover, Germany—the world's leading trade fair for animal production—November 15 -18, 2022. The mission will consist of a seven-person delegation representing Nebraska agriculture and agribusiness sectors.Nebraska has a long and rich history of partnering with Germany. In 2022, the state exported $210 million in agricultural products to Germany, representing the state's fourth-largest export market.
The Nebraskans will join a larger 60-member U.S. delegation organized by the U.S. Meat Export Federation (USMEF), with stops in both Germany and the Czech Republic.
According to the Nebraska Department of Agriculture (NDA), the delegation will visit farms and agricultural businesses in the Czech Republic and Germany and participate in roundtable discussions with industry leaders. In addition, the delegation will visit the EuroTier fair, which attracts more than 150,000 visitors from around the world.
The delegation will learn about the latest agricultural technologies and best practices and explore new market opportunities for Nebraska products.
Nebraska is home to a diverse and dynamic agricultural industry, with a strong focus on livestock production. The state is a leading producer of beef, pork, corn and soybeans. Nebraska's agricultural exports are essential to the state's economy, generating billions of dollars in revenue each year.
