Family Desperate to Bring Daughter Home

The family of a British teenager fighting for life after a paragliding crash in Turkey have spoken of their anguish as they desperately try to bring her home.

Evie, 19, from Milton Keynes, was on holiday with her boyfriend when the accident happened on July 20.

She was airlifted to hospital in a critical condition with serious head injuries and has since undergone two emergency surgeries.

Cost of Treatment and Repatriation

Evie's parents, Tracy and Gary, have been told that the cost of her treatment and repatriation could reach £200,000.

They have launched a GoFundMe page to raise the funds, which has already raised over £120,000.

"We are so grateful for the support we have received so far," said Tracy. "But we still have a long way to go."

Insurance Issues

The family has been told that Evie's travel insurance will not cover the costs of her treatment and repatriation.

They are now exploring other options, including a medical loan or selling their home.

"We are determined to do whatever it takes to bring Evie home," said Gary. "She is our everything."

Support from Local Community

The family has received support from their local community in Milton Keynes.

A fundraising event is being held at the town's shopping center on August 10, and a number of local businesses have donated items to be auctioned off.

"We are so touched by the kindness and generosity of our community," said Tracy. "It is helping us to get through this difficult time."

Evie's Condition

Evie remains in a critical condition in hospital in Turkey.

She has undergone two emergency surgeries and is now breathing with the aid of a ventilator.

Her parents have been told that she may need to be transferred to a specialist hospital in the UK for further treatment.

Appeal for Help

The family is appealing for help from the public to raise the funds needed to bring Evie home.

They have set up a GoFundMe page where people can donate money.

They are also asking people to share their story on social media to help raise awareness.
