Thompson erupted for 37 points in the third quarter alone, helping the Warriors to a 128-101 victory. He hit 13 of his 19 shots from the field, including 9 of 12 from three-point range. Thompson became the first player in NBA history to hit 11 three-pointers in a playoff game, leading the Warriors to a 121-118 victory in Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals. He finished the game with 41 points, helping the Warriors to advance to the NBA Finals.
3. The clutch three-pointer against the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 6 of the 2016 NBA Finals
With the Warriors trailing by one point with just over a minute remaining in regulation, Thompson hit a three-pointer to give Golden State the lead. The Warriors would go on to win the game in overtime, and Thompson's three-pointer was one of the most memorable moments of the entire series.
